Huge Easter...Malibu Good Times....Baseball

Casey and Dane (our new brother-in-law in ten days....yeah we love him!) stopped by an ostrich farm on the way home from a day of mountain biking. They purchased an ostrich egg for our Easter feast!!!

After they cracked the shell and the egg white started running out I was screaming. But when the HUGE yoke came out I gaged!!!! It was crazy. We cooked it up and I only had a taste because it was a mental game for me. It tastes like chicken!!! haa haa! Scotty loved it! He kept on saying...."more big egg!" One ostrich egg is equal to 25 chicken eggs! This is going to be a new family tradition.

Some how we survived egg coloring!

Golfing with Auntie Krista and Devin(her eye candy or was it loves bug!) They are in love so they have cute little names for eachother. My boys love Auntie and were all over her the whole day.

Happy Easter 2009! Hurricane Utah

We had a wonderful reunion with our friends from Malibu, the Pepperdine days. We all lived in the George Paige housing and went to church together. We made great friendships that will last forever. It was so much fun to catch-up with the King's and Sorenson's and meet all the new additions.

Just Call Me.... Supermodel

Sooooo......... I was on Good Things Utah this morning! Haa Haa Haa!!! I was modeling an outfit for Chic Boutique. I am waiting to go on. I was nervous because I have never done anything like this before and I didn't want to look awkward.

Here I am on camera and they made me turn around and show my BUTT to the state of Utah!!!
Yeah I was crapping my pants!!

Just a little pic with the ladies of Good Things Utah. It was fun to see how it all works behind stage. A little something to change up the day for a stay-at-home mom.

A Little Belnap Fun

Our good friends from California, The Belnap's, came to visit us last weekend. Carsen and Scotty Belnap are bestest buddies!! They were so excited to be reunited. Carsen was on the front porch anxiously waiting to greet Scotty Belnap. As their rental car drove up the driveway, the door popped open and Scotty Belnap hopped out. Carsen ran to him and they laughed and hugged in the middle of the driveway. I was crying, it was so cute to see these two little buddies so happy to see eachother again after a year.
Last time they were together.......

...they decided to take a best buddy poop together!!! They were so excited to show us what they did together as friends. I was horrified! I totally screamed and then laughed hysterically and took pics. Only boys have a poop ready to go at the same time. (Hurricane, UT May 2008)

We made a bed on carsen's floor so they could sleep together. Surprisingly they went to sleep. They slept by eachother for 4 nights! It was really cute.

The next day is snowed and snowed and snowed!!! So we showed our little southern california friends some fun in the snow. Casey asked the Belnap kids.... what is more fun sand or snow? They answered... SNOW!!! (I disagree)

While they were here the boys went to a Jazz game. GO JAZZ!!!! They had a blast!

Heather and I saying our good-byes on the front porch. We love you guys!!! Come visit again!

The Big Move

Yeah we MOVED!!!!! After 8 years of marriage, 9 apartments,3 different states (utah... texas...cali), 2 master degrees and 2 cute boys......we bought a HOUSE!!

This is our kickn' backyard!!! It is perfect for us. Right off the kitchen. I will probably be the one mowing it every week. Casey claims that he has done more yard work in his childhood than most do in a lifetime. Haa Haa!!

Poor Casey was sick the day we move. Plus we had a HUGE snow storm!!! We could barely get the truck up the driveway. Oh yeah..... we have a very long driveway and the first week we moved in Casey was out of town. It snowed 3 out of the 4 days he was gone. And yes I shoveled it!! Sometime twice a day. I was so excited to have a house I didn't even care!! Haa Haa! Ask me next winter!!

Me, Grandma Hale, Mom Keller and Friend-Aunt Aly helping me organize my kitchen. WOW!!!

Boxes...Boxes...Boxes!!! Unpacking this time was so enjoyable knowing that it could be my final unpack!!!
